The event held on December 1st, Global Giving Tuesday, will support youth-based programming at the YMCA’s Franklin YCAP. As the world has been hurled into a strange new uncertain world in 2020, youth often suffer the most as they are left trying to make sense of and process all they see raging around them… without having yet developed the coping mechanisms to do so. Enter the power of music through The Beat of Life.
Their incredible team of songwriters, bringing their magnanimous hearts alongside their magnificent skills for making sense of the hard parts of life through song, possess a magical combination to help young future leaders navigate all that burdens the world and their worlds within… creating powerful anthems of love, unity, change, inspiration, and hope.
You can help make that happen in a variety of ways:
Being a part of this event is an incredible way for you to be a part of critical national conversations through the unifying and universal power of music, something needed perhaps more than ever before. At the same time, The Beat of Life’s secondary goal of providing income for their songwriters allows you to help the helpers.
The music industry, reliant on live music performances for their survival, has been one of the severely hit industries during COVID – and The Beat of Life wants to give back to those who have spent years donating their time, hearts, and services to help us give to the most vulnerable – at a time when they are now the ones hurting.
