TPAC InsideOut presents African American Plays and Playwrights

Welcome to a new series of workshops for adults who want to learn more about the art and practice of theatre.

These interactive sessions will highlight different topics from the jukebox musical to famous choreography, creating characters, and more for adults looking to explore their creative and artistic side through the lens of popular musicals and plays.

Actor and director Jon Royal will guide you through both well-known and obscure African American playwrights, and also examine the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Fairview, by Jackie Sibblies Drury.
