August Guest Speaker: Hilary Barnett, Author of The Good Enough Mother: Reimagining Motherhood and Work and The Whole Motherhood Podcast
About Hilary Barnett:
Hilary Barnett earned her B.A. in Music Business from Anderson University in 2003 and an M.A. in Practical Theology from Regent University in 2012. During graduate school, she also earned a Life and Leadership Coaching certification from Lifeforming. She began writing and blogging in 2008 and, in 2013, founded her company, Savvee, where she provides branding and content marketing services for companies.
She has been married to "the love of her life" since 2002 and has two daughters. Hilary thrives after a Lyme Disease diagnosis in 2015 and has recently begun focusing on intuitive and pro-metabolic nutrition to continue her healing journey. She self-published her first book, The Good Enough Mother: Reimagining Motherhood and Work, in September 2021.
Moms everywhere are caught up in the struggle between mothering, earning an income, and following their dreams. Culture and media paint mothers as “women at war” who argue over even the smallest approach to parenting. It can all seem so overwhelming, and sometimes hopeless.
But Hilary Barnett sees so much more to the story.
Rather than taking sides, Hilary embraces the tension of motherhood and work and proposes a new way forward. A way that allows women to love their children and their work fiercely, and not have to sacrifice their sanity for a healthy and joy-filled life.
All attendees will be entered to win a signed copy of The Good Enough Mother: Reimagining Motherhood and Work!
