Head out to Bledsoe Creek State Park for their annual Junior Ranger Camp! This camp is designed for children ages 8 to 12. Campers will be exploring art and nature while having fun in the great outdoors. Programs will include activities that inspire creativity, curiosity, and inventiveness led by Tennessee State Park Rangers.
Cost for camp is $60 per child. If paying by check make payable to Bledsoe Creek State Park and include your phone and driver license number. Payment may be made over the phone after application and waiver have been received by the Park Office. You may call Ranger Smith at (615) 230-8325 or the Visitor Center at (615) 452-3706 to verify receipt and submit payment.
Applications are obtainable for pickup from the Visitor Center or by email request. Email requests can be sent to Ranger Jennifer Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ashlee McDaniel at email@example.com. Applications and Waiver of Liability must be dropped off at the Visitor Center or emailed by July 4th.
Legal guardians must sign the Release of Liability form before the child can attend the Junior Ranger Day Camp. Parents are asked to voluntarily fill in the medical questionnaire. This form alerts Park Rangers to any allergies or medical conditions that might require immediate attention in the field (i.e. bee sting allergy, diabetes, etc.)
Camp is limited to the first 12 participants. A participant is not registered until application and waiver have been received and payment has been collected. Registration will end on July 4th, 2020.
