With CMA Music Festival only a few days away, many Nashvillians are planning to get as far away from downtown as possible. We get it, it’s crowded, but there are so many reasons to head straight into the excitement. CMA Music Festival can be a great experience for locals! We have a few reasons to stick around and check out the festivities this weekend.

FREE Music Everywhere!
With seven free stages, fans are certain to see a variety of artists from legends to the latest up-and-comers. Visit CMA Music Festival’s website for the entire schedule of artists and stages.

CMA Music Festival Opening Ceremonies
Speaking of free music, CMA Music Festival is kicking off early thffxis year with Opening Ceremonies on Wednesday, June 8 at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater!  With Murfreesboro native Chris Young headlining and appearances by Mayor Megan Barry, the Fisk Jubilee Singers, and students from Metro Nashville Public Schools’ music education programs, this is sure to be a great show with local flavor.

Fan Fair X
Fan Fair X passes are still available, and for only $10 for daily admission or $25 for a four day pass, you get access to artist interactions, celebrity Q&A sessions and autographs, shopping, games, crafts, Monster Trucks and so much more!

Not a fan of Country Music?
That’s OK. Believe it or not, there is more to CMA Music Festival than country music. The Fun Team will be scouring the streets giving away swag, the people watching will be fantastic, and vendors will line historic Broadway handing out product and food samples. There will be plenty of games and freebies to enjoy!
