As the traffic from Bonnaroo and CMA Fest® dies down and summer finally makes its way to Nashville, I find myself longing for more of that sweet, summer goodness. Like many of you, my favorite memories of summer are ones where I can connect with my family and friends in meaningful ways. Luckily for us Nashvillians, there are plenty of places that offer these kinds of opportunities while also listening to some of the country’s best music, enjoying drinks from our favorite local breweries and wineries, and feasting on some incredible local eats.
But, there’s one local event that’s sure to check all the boxes on your summertime wish list. It’s called Red, White & Brew! This seventh annual event will take place on Saturday, July 13th from 2pm to 5pm. It’s an over-the-top themed party, complete with costume and karaoke contests. Picture yourself sipping on an ice cold beer or a glass of wine, dressed as your favorite American icon (Amelia Earhart anyone?), listening to some sweet tunes from some of Nashville’s finest musicians, and sampling some incredibly tasty treats. And, get this, it’s all for charity! Simply and genuinely put, it’s a great time AND it’s for a great cause.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and available online now.
The first 100 through the door will also receive a free drink ticket sponsored by Little Harpeth Brewing. Admission includes light bites of pizza, meatballs, and other samplings from Nashville Urban Winery and chances to win other prizes. Thanks to the Music sponsors, Village Real Estate, there will be a great backdrop of live music by the band Nehoda to get you in the good-time mood.
Proceeds from the event will support The Tomorrow Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which builds community awareness and responsibility in Middle Tennessee young professionals by establishing a pattern of community service and charitable giving.
Hope to see y’all there!
