Sip more than 80 wines from Napa, Italy, Australia and all around the globe without ever leaving Music City at Red, White and Zoo, on Friday, July 26 from 7pm – 10pm. All species of wine lovers are invited to the fifth annual wine-tasting event to enjoy unlimited samples.
This exotic 21+ tasting event allows wine connoisseurs and novices alike to wander the Zoo paths while enjoying endless samples of wine and viewing select animal exhibits. BONUS: With cooler temperatures after normal Zoo hours, the animals tend to be more active.
Wines available throughout the night include Bread & Butter Wines, Baci Dolci, Rascal Wines, Domaine Bousquet and dozens more. Other alcoholic beverages available include hard ciders, craft beers and select spirits.
Looking for a break in wine sampling? Stroll and satisfy your appetite with numerous food trucks parked on Festival Field, including Cousins Maine Lobster, Gypsy Crepe Company, IL Fomo, Ugly Burgers, Funk Seoul Brother and King Tut’s.
Along with live music set up throughout the park, keepers will be out and about with their furry or scaly friends for guests to meet. Some exhibits, such as Expedition Peru: Trek of the Andean Bear, Tiger Crossroads, Flamingo Lagoon and Africa Field will remain open until sundown. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the beginning of the event to take full advantage of the evening.
Take your night to the next level by purchasing VIP tickets, which include all the perks of a general admission ticket, as well as access to the exclusive VIP lounge, private event entry and food pairings with select wine in the lounge.
All proceeds from this event go toward Zoo operations, which includes feeding more than 2,700 animals, education programs for the community and funding conservation efforts around the world.
