Bongo East/Game Point Cafe Our East Nashville location has two names and combines a traditional coffeehouse with the city’s first board game café. In 2000, Bongo helped kick-off the revitalization of the 5 Points business neighborhood by moving our coffee roasting operation there. The café portion was added almost as an after-thought. As the neighborhood grew around us, we moved the roasting division out to make room for tables and chairs. Now the café boasts a breakfast, lunch and snacking menu along with a coffee bar that features our 100% organic coffee and local craft brews. Our carefully curated selection of more than 700 board games is free for customers to enjoy. Game coaches are on hand in the evenings to teach, settle rule disputes and recommend new games. Walter Carter has 25 years of experience in the vintage guitar world, including 10 years as Gibson’s in-house historian and 12 years at a vintage dealer. He has written a dozen books on vintage guitars and guitar companies, ranging from "Gibson: 100 Years of an American Icon" to "Gruhn’s Guide to Vintage Guitars" to the 40-pound coffeetable book "The Guitar Collection."
