School of Rock Franklin

Founded as a single school in Philadelphia, PA in 1998, School of Rock has become a growing international franchise, operating 100 schools in the US, Mexico and abroad. We believe the best way to learn music is to play music. We take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skill levels. School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums and combines weekly private music lessons and group band rehearsals to prepare students to take the stage in front of live audiences in an authentic concert setting. To date our students have played thousands of concerts, to more than 100,000 people, at such legendary venues as CBGB's, The Trocadero, The Knitting Factory, The Whiskey, The Roxy, The Experience Music Project, The Big Easy and BB King's Blues Club in Times Square. We have also had the great fortune to be able to perform at music festivals from Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, to Zappanale in Bad Doberan, Germany.

Tennessee State University | Performing Arts Center

The TSU Performing Arts Center is the home of the Department of Music and the Department of Communications. The facility houses a large state-of-the-art digitally controlled theater and music hall, a midsized acoustic recital hall, the University's television studio and editing suite complex, the TSU radio station, nine smart classrooms, two computer laboratories, professors’ teaching studios/offices, large and small practice studios, and rehearsal spaces necessary to serve these two performing arts departments. A computer-controlled access system allows music students to utilize secured practice areas and laboratories at night and on weekends in order to practice and prepare for classes. Additionally, two other auditoriums on-campus are used for ensemble performances. Tennessee State University shares the LP Field stadium with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League, and the TSU Aristocrat of Bands marching band performs there at all home TSU games and at select NFL games. Tennessee Tech - Bryant Fine Arts Building/Wattenbarger Auditorium

Bryan Fine Arts Building at Tennessee Tech University The building, constructed in 1981, is named in honor of distinguished Tennessee composer and teacher Charles Faulkner Bryan who was an early music faculty member at Tennessee Tech. The Arts at Center Street

At the Arts at Center Street, we do not seek to create art simply for its own sake, or to produce something “beautiful” without evaluating the cost. Rather, we recognize art as a tool to communicate values, to provoke emotion and lead to introspection and beneficial conversation. To this end, we foster opportunities for education and performance in dance, music, theater, and poetry and public speaking. We accept the challenge of creating entertainment that is characterized by meaning and substance, that will affect people deeply and play a part in the transformation of their lives for the better. The Arts at Center Street is a performing arts venue and home to The Center Street Theatre Company. The venue hosts a range of acts from bands to poets, musicals and plays. With a seating capacity of 80 - 100, the venue is a unique size to the area, as other nearby theatres have a seating capacity of 30, or 200, but nothing in between. The theatre is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, including the ability to record every show's audio to Protools, and digitally automate light shows for any production. The venue also has 4k video equipment for visually recording any work performed on the stage. The performance area is a proscenium stage with an apron, totalling 24' x 24' [16' x 24' upstage, and 8' x 24' on the apron]. The stage is versatile enough to host smaller productions as well as large cast productions and still get an intimate feel with the audience, as the tiered seating allows for even the back row to see facial expressions of performers. A full service bar is also available to patrons before and at the intermission of performances.

The Franklin Theatre

The enduring romance with The Franklin Theatre began in the summer of 1937. The marquee spilled brilliantly onto Main Street inviting citizens countywide to see Night Must Fall, starring Robert Montgomery and Rosalind Russell. And they came -- young and old, black and white, rich and poor. They laughed, they cried, they dreamed. And, together, within the illuminated walls of the Franklin Theatre, unforgettable moments occurred and memories were made. In the 70 years that followed, until rising rents forced the theater to close in 2007, life changed dramatically. But for the most part, the Franklin Theatre stood timeless, becoming one of the most beloved small-town movie houses in the South. Fresh-popped corn, first kisses and saving pennies for the Saturday matinee became pastimes shared from one generation to the next. Built in 1937, the Franklin Theatre has a storied history, but had fallen into disrepair and ceased operations in 2007. The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County, with the support of hundreds of donors, was able to purchase the theater in late 2007 and restored it. June of 2011 saw the Grand Opening Celebration with the first movie back on the big screen... Gone With The Wind.

The Historic Palace Theatre - Crossville

The Palace Theatre opened in November of 1938 and played an important part in the lives of many people and the community. The Palace is fully restored now and is a multi-use community auditorium and visitors' center. Originally the Palace was intended to be an entertainment center and we have stayed true to that historic vision, featuring live entertainment in variety of musical styles. We host concerts of Jazz, Blues, Country, Bluegrass and Rock just to name a few. The Palace provided the public with a distraction from everyday life to the public during the difficult war years and still provides a high-quality "something to do" for fun seekers of all ages in the Crossville, Cumberland Plateau and the East TN area. Our newly renovated auditorium and premium sound system ensure that you will enjoy whatever show you see here. Still, the Palace Theatre is not only what it used to be, it is much more. The Palace is also a wonderfully functional community center, meeting hall and multi-media facility, suitable for sales or training presentations, committee meetings or even regional trade shows. If you need a centrally located place to hold your seminars or professional classes, The Palace has the projectors for your PowerPoint presentation, as well as a concession stand for class breaks or lunch and the friendly staff to support ALL your training needs. The Park Theater

The Park Theater, originally built in May, 1939, has been completely renovated and re-opened in May of 2015. This historic venue has beautiful sloped epoxy floors with 378 theater-style seats on the main floor and 181 theater-style seats in the balcony… there is literally, not a bad seat in the house! Trevecca Nazarene University - Boone Convocation Center

An existing commercial warehouse on property adjacent to Trevecca Nazarene University’s campus was transformed through renovation and expansion into 21,246 square feet of classrooms and faculty offices for the School of Business and also into 18,000 square feet of space for the Boone Convocation Center.

The Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University serves as the school's focal point for the study and appreciation of music, both as a means of self-expression and as a performance art for the entertainment of others. The facilities include three performance venues, the Steve and Judy Turner Recital Hall, the Martha Rivers Ingram Center for the Performing Arts, and the Choral Hall. Completed in 2001, Ingram Hall is a 618-seat performance hall with full staging capability including orchestra pit, opera scene shop, loading dock, dressing rooms and Green room. Turner Recital Hall provides an intimate space and acoustically superior setting for solo and chamber music performances. As Blair School of Music's principal performance hall for over twenty years, this 286-seat room is a superb setting for student and faculty recitals, as well as lectures and guest performers. Martha Rivers Ingram Center for the Performing Arts: Since the opening of the Martha Ingram Center for the Performing Arts in 2002, Ingram Hall has been a premier venue for the fulfillment of dreams for thousands of young artists. It has also been the the location for two Grammy-nominated recordings, performances of world premieres by the Nashville Opera and Nashville Ballet and live television broadcasts. Every type of event has been staged here. Grand celebrations with onstage dining, spectacular lighting and multimedia entertainment are a specialty. Steve and Judy Turner Recital Hall Steve and Judy Turner Recital Hall is a 272-seat recital hall that debuted in 1980 as part of Blair School of Music's original construction. Noted for its intimacy and warm acoustics, Turner Recital Hall embodies the artistic soul of Blair. It is the principal performing space for Blair faculty and student solo recitals, hosting more than 150 performances annually. It is equipped with two Steinway concert grand pianos, a pipe organ, and audio and video recording system. Artists who wish to make use of the Dobson Opus 92 pipe organ in Turner Hall must request permission as outlined in the organ use policy. Turner Hall is located inside the front entrance of Blair School of Music. Parking for Blair events is sometimes available in the West Garagewhich is located directly across from Ingram Hall. Choral Hall The Choral Hall was part of the Martha Ingram Center for the Performing Arts construction that was completed in 2001. The intimacy of this 80-seat venue combined with its interactive technology has made it an ideal host to a number of recitals, master classes, rehearsals, workshops and larger classes. Choral Hall is located inside the of Blair School of Music. When War Memorial Auditorium was dedicated in 1925, leading architects and artists of the time contributed to its style, near-perfect acoustics, and atmosphere.
