Established in 1958 and initially known as Union Hill Raceway or "The Hill" for the first 25 years, Music City Raceway... is the longest-running drag racing facility in NHRA Division 2. We welcome you to visit us and race with us. Our racing season starts with time trials and test and tune in February and runs "March through November" with a number of racing events throughout the week. Source: website

Nashville Superspeedway, Middle Tennessee’s racing jewel, is back on the NASCAR schedule! A year-round family friendly destination in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, Nashville Superspeedway is a staple on the regional sports, entertainment and festival scene. Nashville Superspeedway hosted its first NASCAR events in April 2001. Through 2011, the 1.33-mile D-shaped oval with 14 degrees of banking was home to 21 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, 13 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events and eight Indy Racing League contests. In 2021, Nashville hosted its first NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, June 20 (Father's Day), a NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, June 19 and a Camping World Truck Series race on June 18. The Father's Day event was the first NASCAR Cup Series race in the Nashville area since 1984. The largest concrete-only track in NASCAR, Nashville Superspeedway is owned by Dover Motorsports, Inc., which also owns Dover International Speedway in Delaware. Source: venue website

Veterans Motorplex at the Rim

Formerly known as Highland Rim Speedway, Veterans Motorplex at the Rim hosts racing Saturday nights from March-October on a fast, quarter-mile, mile high-banked asphalt bullring ... fun for the whole family! Located off Exit 104 on I-65, just 20 minutes north of Nashville and built in 1961 originally as a dirt track, the speedway has played host to several NASCAR legends, including the Alabama Gang. In addition, it's the site of country music legend and racer Marty Robbins’ first racing victory. The speedway races the Pro 8 Late Model Series, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Stock, Pure Stock, Legends, Baby Grand, Tuner, Rim Runner, and Pro-4 Mod divisions. The speedway has abundant parking both for fans and racers, and can accommodate haulers of all sizes. Race fans enjoy the racing action in the beautiful all-aluminum seating bleachers, and those needing special assistance can enjoy the racing action from the elevated wheelchair platform connected to the front stretch grandstands. Fans and teams alike can enjoy mouth-watering food and drinks from our on-site concession stands located both in the grandstand areas and the pit area. Children enjoy the play area near the entrance gate that features several inflatable bounce houses, and everyone can get great souvenir items as well as photos and videos of the racing action at the Souvenir Alley Souvenir Stand!
