Parlor Productions Studio is owned by Larry Sheridan and Robin Ruddy. Larry and Robin moved to Nashville in 1986 and have been steadily growing their music business together ever since. In 1994 Larry and Robin started their first Publishing company Best Built Songs-ASCAP, literally from the kitchen table. When they finally outgrew the one room studio and office in their house they started looking for a new home for Best Built Songs and for the studio. That new home was an old bungalow on Music Row that they bought from Randy Travis and Liv Hatcher. It had been used as a storage place for Randy’s concessions. They bought the house in 1997 gutted it to the studs, added on and renovated it to make what is now known as the new home of Parlor Productions Studio and Best Built Songs. Larry played the solo circuit in New York City in the 70’s while pursuing his jazz studies, but it is his background in architecture and cabinet making that made this studio what it is today. Larry designed and built Parlor Productions Studio. He used Michael Cronin as an acoustical advisor, and it has been said time and time again that the recording studio is sonically superior. It really works! We get the best drum sounds in the 16’ high tracking room. Robin grew up in Miami Florida and started playing the bluegrass circuit in North Carolina and Washington DC in the 70’s and 80’s. They met while they were both living in DC and discovered their mutual love for songwriting. In the summer of 1986 they decided to pack up the u-haul and make the move to Nashville. Since then, Robin has performed and toured with notable artists like Rod Stewart, Ray Stevens, Shania Twain, Lynn Anderson, Deborah Allen and many more, playing pedal steel, banjo, dobro and guitar. Platetone Printmaking, Paper and Book Arts

Platetone was founded in 2004 as community printmaking studio offering membership to fine art printmakers. Since then, we have grown to incorporate Book and Paper Arts and changed to become a 501c3 non profit. We offer 24/7 studio access to equipment and space for creating, including presses for etching, lithography, and letterpress, as well as a silk-screen area and equipment for bookwork and papermaking. We also teach workshops, provide exhibition opportunities and host a free educational Open Studio every First Saturday from 6-8 pm. We are professionals, teachers, amateurs, students. Ridenour Rehearsal Studios

Ridenour Rehearsal Studios is a rehearsal space, music lessons academy, music venue, and recording studio Located in Murfreesboro, TN that opened to the public in August 2018. Keith Ridenour and Derek Assaf opened the studio as a way to tap into the flourishing music scene in the Middle Tennessee area. The 5,600-square-foot facility features five spacious rehearsal rooms, five private lesson rooms, a writers lounge and a 1,350-square-foot venue that can accommodate concerts and parties. Every rehearsal room has two guitar amps, a bass amp, keyboard amp and a drum kit. They are set up so bands don't have to drag in all their gear. Each room also has its own PA system. Nashville Ballet and the second company NB2 (a pre-professional training company) serve nearly 70,000 adults and children annually through performances and outreach and community engagement programming. Curriculum-based outreach programs bring dance education to community centers, colleges, public libraries and public elementary, middle and high schools across the state. The School of Nashville Ballet provides world-class instruction in ballet and other forms of dance for dancers of all ages. The School of Nashville Ballet also has a main campus in Nashville.

Sips n Strokes

Sips n Strokes® offers a casual, fun environment in which customers of all ages and experience levels can “unleash the artist within.” Customers create their own works of art with easily understood, step-by-step guidance from one of our trained instructors. “Inspiring the world to create” was Wendy LoVoy’s goal when she created the paint and sip industry in 2003 as an alternative to traditional art instruction. Skyway Studios Enterprises is an independent media production and distribution complex located in Nashville, Tennessee and is the worldwide headquarters of the Dance Network. Skyway brings together a community of entertainment industry partners including casting, legal expertise, talent acquisition, post-production, music recording and audio engineering in one location. Located five miles from downtown and 15 minutes from the airport, the 16-acre, 126,000 square foot complex houses four large full-capacity stages, three insert studios, a flexible studio dedicated for live shots, two HD broadcast control rooms, seven circuits of dedicated broadcast fiber with connectivity for satellite distribution, executive/management office space, client edit suite, a newly renovated commercial kitchen, green/dressing rooms and meeting and conference spaces. Connectivity (Onsite Connections) includes Level 3, XO Communications, AT&T, Comcast fiber and Video fiber (The Switch and Vyvx). The fenced and gated campus also includes 10 Gigabyte fiber backbone, raised floor techcore, a 12,000 square foot warehouse, parking for 600 vehicles, six loading docks, disaster recovery capabilities with back-up power generation for up to 7 days. Starstruck Studios

The main studio (The Gallery) is a two-story space with a recording mezzanine comprising a "one of a kind" solo balcony suspended above the main floor and perimeter with individual voice and/or instrument isolation booths. The main floor is large enough to accommodate a 40 piece orchestra. A red terra cotta floor and slate-tiled diffractal ceiling enclose a truly flexible 1,077 square foot main room which can be left fully open or have hinged panels create two additional isolated recording environments. The nine-foot square cherry wood balcony juts out into and above the main recording room, creating a unique recording space as well as a breathtaking view. The balcony connects two skybox isolation spaces along the rear wall, each with glass walls and floor tiles to create unparalleled sight lines throughout the recording area. The Pond Studio is highlighted by three dramatically different and highly individual isolation spaces: The Cherry Room is warmly ambient and perfect for one of the studio’s two hand-picked Yamaha Conservatory Grand pianos; the Slate Room, with fast, highly energized reflections; and the Pond Room, with its electrically charged polarizing polymer windows, which overlook the sculpted horses and ponds, change from clear to translucently opaque for complete privacy at the touch of a button. The identical 21x22 foot control rooms feature a 72 input SSL 9000J equipped with Total Recall and Ultimation. The monitoring is via Coastal Acoustics Boxer T5 system. These two magnificent studios share a common machine room which houses two Studer A827 analogue multitracks with Dolby SR. Two fully loaded Protools HDX systems are also located in the machine room. Two Studer A820 half-inch two-tracks are available for mixing. Comprehensive test and measurement equipment insures that all equipment is performing to its maximum potential. The entire studio complex is based on interconnectivity. All technical facilities are presented on central patch bays in the machine room, offering total flexibility in accessing the major audio equipment. All audio wiring is oxygen-free Mogami cable, and the comprehensive grounding system and completely balanced analog-audio system insure signal integrity. AES digital audio is distributed via routing switchers and separate video and data cabling throughout the complex has been designed to distribute audio, video, sync, work clock and a wide range of control and communication protocols. The Barbershop Theater

The Barbershop Theater strives to provide an affordable space for Nashville theater companies and other artists to rehearse, perform, and exhibit their work. Nashville continues to grow and artistic space is becoming harder to find. Small theater companies need to be able to make money so they can pay their actors and designers and they need a stable home in order to schedule a season and build an audience. Theater patrons need more opportunities to see high quality affordable theater, therefore all theater performances will be $15. About the Building: Billy’s Barbershop was a fixture of the Preston-Taylor neighborhood. Neighbors got their first haircut at Billy’s, grew up there, and knew him as a friend. After Billy’s death, DRKMTTR Collective used it as an innovative and eclectic venue space presenting many local and national bands. In March of 2018 Nettie Kraft and Graham Mote bought the Barbershop with the goal of continuing to share this space with the performing artists and art lovers of Nashville. The Clay Lady's Campus

The Clay Lady campus is home to 45 local artists, creative community to 65 members, and art mecca to 150 students weekly for on-going pottery classes, host for 100-200 children and adults weekly for field trips, and art center providing ten weekend workshops annually. The Campus is committed to at least four community outreach events each year, raising thousands of dollars benefiting area art programs and creating opportunities that celebrate art; bringing together artists and art enthusiasts. The Forge

Founded in 2012, the Forge Nashville is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in a 23,000 square foot facility in the Railyard District near the Cumberland river. The Forge offers a massive makerspace, shops, gallery, artist studios and office space geared specifically for the artisans and creative misfits of Nashville. No matter your creative medium, you can find resources and a vibrant community at the Forge. The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, Studio A

School of Nashville Ballet offers world-class dance instruction to ages 2-70 of every experience level. In 2001, the Nashville Ballet moved into The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, now referred to as Nashville Ballet Studio A, a new state-of-the-art headquarters and studio located on the west side of Nashville. In addition to its four dance studios, the facility boasts a costume shop, costume and prop storage, and offices for its 35-member artistic, school and administrative staff. Nashville Ballet owns its own building, the Martin Center for Nashville Ballet (now known as Nashville Ballet Studio A), a customized 44,000 square foot facility that serves as a home for our professional dancers, school students and administrative offices. Though some performances are held at the Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, most performances are held at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in downtown Nashville.

The Purple Building
