The mission of BMCC is to equip children with the skills they need to successfully navigate an ever-changing world. It’s a serious task, and yet one that is best achieved through play and experiences that allow children to make choices. BMCC is proud to earn Top 3 in the Nashville Scene’s “Best Of” as “Best Day Care” in 2018 and Top 3 Day Cares and #1 Preschool in 2019.

BMCC uses two curriculums, both of which are founded on decades of research and demonstrated results. Children through the age of three are taught via Creative Curriculum, which is an emergent program that encourages children to explore ideas and personal interests. Four and five-year-olds are taught via the Developmental Learning Materials (DLM) Curriculum, which focuses on developing literacy and preparing children for kindergarten.

At BMCC, teachers facilitate learning through both group and independent activities that engage children’s hearts and minds. Whether observing play, encouraging curiosity by asking questions, or imparting wisdom through modeling, our teachers invite children to think, grow, play and build friendships, and recognize that they are vital members of their community. Rooted in the highly regarded Reggio Emilia approach, our programs are thoughtfully designed to teach children the principles of respect, responsibility and community.

Committed and caring, all of our teachers and staff maintain state certifications in Early Learning Developmental Standards (ELDS) and complete a minimum of 30 training hours each year. In addition, each is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Our program is available beginning at 6 weeks old through Pre-Kindergarten from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
