Nashville CARE’s mission is to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee. They work to achieve this through education, advocacy and support for those at risk for or living with HIV.
With your help, Nashville CARES offers services annually to more than 55,000 Middle Tennesseans infected and affected by HIV/AIDS including: HIV prevention education to over 35,000 youth and adults, 16,000 confidential HIV tests, and support services to 3,000 men, women and children living with the disease.
Nashville CARES is partially funded by the Tennessee Department of Health, the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, the Metro Public Health Department, the Metropolitan Development & Housing Agency, the Community Enhancement Fund, the Centers for Disease Control, the Emergency Food & Shelter Program, and an array of private foundations.
