Home to the GRAMMY® Award-winning Nashville Symphony and located in Music City's SoBro district, Schermerhorn Symphony Center presents a wide range of concerts and events. The Schermerhorn’s 1,850-seat, state-of-the-art Laura Turner Concert Hall is recognized worldwide for its acoustical excellence and its custom-built concert organ, the envy of its peer halls. Theater-style seating on the orchestra level transforms into a 5,700-square-foot hardwood ballroom floor making the hall deal for rental events, from galas and weddings to corporate meetings and receptions. Nashville Symphony concerts cover a spectrum of genres, from its core classical concerts with internationally acclaimed artists; collaborations with composers; commissioning and recording projects with Nashville-based artists; and, a host of pops, jazz, live-to film presentations, and family concerts. Community engagement and education activities reach more than 60,000 children and adults each year.
