Shimai, Gallery of Contemporary Craft

Our mission with Shimai is to support local artists; to offer fine handcrafted objects of art to the community and those visiting the Nashville area; to nurture, educate and foster a love for the arts; and to form genuine, long-lasting relationships with the community at large. In addition to being open 7 days a week all year round, we hold festival events and demonstrations so that visitors get an understanding of processes artisans use. We carry a wide range of original artwork, offering gifts and treasures from $3 to $3,000.
