Sisters Kathy Leslie and Sandra Austin opened Shugga Hi Bakery and Cafe on Dickerson Pike in East Nashville in 2017, and have been receiving rave review for their desserts, breakfasts, barbecued rip tips, hot wings, cake waffle burger, catfish or whiting sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and cake waffles. The weekend brunch is among the city’s best.

Full bar. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 8 am-10 pm Thu-Sat, Sat-Sun brunch 9 am-2 pm.
