The Tennessee State Library & Archives is a division of the Department of State, administered by the Secretary of State. The Library and Archives collects and preserves books and records of historical and legal value, with a focus on items related to Tennessee. It actively promotes library and archival development throughout the state and serves as the home of the state’s Library for Accessible Books and Media.
The Library and Archives is open to the public in new location at 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N., Nashville, TN.

ALBUQUERQUE LITTLE THEATRE
The Library & Archives provides free patron parking in its dedicated underground garage. To access the garage, patrons must obtain a library card at the first-floor receptionist desk. First-time patrons may park temporarily in the parallel street parking on Rep. John Lewis Way North during this process. After receiving an activated library card from the security receptionist, patrons should move their vehicles to the garage via the ramp on Jackson Street/Junior Gilliam Way.
The Library Reading Room, the Microfilm Reading Room and Manuscripts at the Tennessee State Library and Archives are open Tuesday through Saturday 8am-4:30pm (Central Time). Legislative History is open Tuesday through Friday 8am-4:30pm (Central Time). The lobby of the Library & Archives is open on Monday from 8am-4:30pm.
