The Fourth of July is rapidly approaching, which means it’s time to start planning! Middle Tennessee has a variety of fireworks displays happening over the next weekend- whether you’re looking for the largest in the nation, small town celebrations, or festivals for the whole family to enjoy.
Let Freedom Sing featuring Martina McBride, Mikky Ekko and The Nashville Symphony
Nashville’s Fireworks display is supposed to be bigger than ever this year, slated to be the biggest Fourth of July fireworks display in the Country. This event takes place in downtown Nashville and is a highlight of the Summer with free live music happening all day and into the night, culminating with a spectacular fireworks display. Music City’s party is always ranked one of the best!
Franklin on the Fourth with Fireworks at Harlindsale Farms
The free festival kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th, with bluegrass music playing from the stage. Food vendors include everything from roasted corn on the cob to BBQ; ice cream to nachos; and corn dogs to smoothies. Craft vendors will fill the area with wood working, jewelry and other handmade items. The always fun Children’s Parade starts at 5 p.m. Franklin on the Fourth ends at 8 p.m. to give attendees time to get to the Fireworks Display at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. The display, put on by the City of Franklin will begin at approximately 9:00pm.
Town of Nolensville’s Fourth of July Celebration
The Town of Nolensville is gearing up for another fantastic 4th of July event this year. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. at the Nolensville Ball Park (Nolensville Road at Nolensville Park Road) and will close with a 20-minute professional fireworks display at dark.The performance will be capped off by the National Anthem, to herald the beginning of the fireworks display.
Nashville Sounds Fourth of July Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day with the Nashville Sounds on Friday, July 3rd! This Nashville Sounds game will feature Fox 17 Independence Day Fireworks, Independence Day Shirts for the first 4,000 Fans, and a Stars and Stripes Jersey Auction.
Mt. Juliet’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration
The free, family-friendly celebration will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. on July 4 in the town center located at the heart of the Marketplace’s property. Families are encouraged to remain on site at 9 p.m. for convenient viewing of the City of Mt. Juliet’s fireworks show.
Crockett Park July Fourth Celebration
As part of the 2015 Summer Concert Series, join The Kadillacs for Brentwood’s Annual Fourth of July celebration. The concert begins at 7:00pm with fireworks following the performance.
