MCA Nashville/Republic Records dynamic duo YA’BOYZ are sharing their swaggering new song “THIS-A-WAY,” out now. The sway-inducing track is penned by the duo’s Zach Kale and Joe Ragosta with Nick Zinnanti and Jon Nite, with production by NCKZN, Kale and Ragosta. Heating up the swampy, summer jam with a distinct piano lick and twangy guitars, YA’BOYZ nod to “backwoods tradition” with some truck in your mud and some party in your cup over a breezy, whistling chorus.
“THIS-A-WAY” is the latest addition to a list of genre-smashing bangers from the pair, melding punchy beats and infectious hooks with tracks like “YA’BOYZ,” “STOMP YOUR BOOTS,” and “LEGENDS.”
Garnering attention with their fresh, innovative sound, their song “WOO WOO,” served as the official 2022 playoff anthem of the Nashville Predators, with YA’BOYZ tracks also featured on Fox Sports, ESPN for the previous two college football seasons including SEC and ACC Networks, and season 13 of American Ninja Warrior.
With unparalleled energy and wit, Zach Kale and Joe Ragosta are the very definition of entertainers as duo YA’BOYZ. Acclaimed songwriter and lead vocalist Kale has penned hits for artists including Florida Georgia Line, Gabby Barrett and Charlie Puth, NELLY, Keith Urban and more. Ragosta fronted a thriving punk rock band, but he always felt destined for more.
After a chance meeting in 2016, Kale and Ragosta formed an instant friendship founded in a shared passion for music, fun, and the dream of smashing genre barriers. The pair soon began writing together, easily blending their diverse backgrounds and creating an all-new sound. The music is high-energy, quirky, and clever, just like Kale and Ragosta. Their tunes have already been featured on American Ninja Warrior, ESPN, FOX Sports, and as the official playoff anthem for the Nashville Predators. Turning heads with their boundary-pushing tracks “STOMP YOUR BOOTS,” “LEGENDS,” and self-titled “YA’BOYZ,” the dynamic duo has more new music on the horizon. YA’BOYZ are hitting the road this year with a live show that can be summed up like the final 5 minutes of a fireworks show – explosive, engaging, and keeps you looking for more.
More new music is on the way for YA’BOYZ in the coming months. Keep up with them on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.
